Rating: PG-13 for language
Summary: "His parents dote on him, but they doted on his brother the same way, and now he is all but obliterated, mentioned only as a source of dishonour. Might their parents not cut him off just as easily? Might he not be blasted from the tapestry, his name only ever mentioned as a byword for shame?"
Pairing: I guess it's gen, but there's Remus/Sirius in there if you squint.
Notes: Sibling relationships are complex, and I may have adapted some of these events from my own childhood. Everything else belongs to JKR. Totally not mine, no profit made, no offense intended etc etc
