Enjoyed this a lot. This D/s pairing is just lovely, but also convincing: I can really see Merlin and Gwaine in these stories.

I also very much appreciated this line:
Gwaine is at that delicate stage where it would be all too easy to reinterpret his own pleasure as selfishness

That delicate stage is definitely recognizable, but I don't think I've ever seen it articulated quite this clearly before. Thanks for that. :)
