This hits SO many happy spots for me. I love Merlin learning to fight, wanting to! I love his friendship with Gwaine. I love that ULTIMATELY THIS IS ABOUT ARTHUR which is like, the only thing that would prompt him to spend that much time learning hand to hand combat.

And it all works so well as a slow build to the AWESOME BJ. GOD.
