Wow, this is so wonderful, it feels so real, Sirius' desperation and denial and finally understanding are so very in character. This fic is very very angsty, but I love it. I wonder: Will there be a sequel? To show how Sirius' switches being secret keeper and all? By the way, I like how you've made Peter belong into their world, capable and smart and no longer the boring, pudgy kid.
