Oh, this was lovely and very well done. I really enjoyed the way they finished each other's thoughts/sentences with something completely different, but utterly fitting.
And this, perhaps, was my favorite bit: "'course it's not," he says, and Remus feels his heart thud one extra-loud beat. He hopes, Christ, he hopes they're not talking at cross purposes. The doubts are blown out of the water with the simple brush of Sirius' hand over his cheek, a touch which trails down the side of his neck and dips briefly inside her shirt to graze over his collarbone.
